Jag Padma (16th September 2020)
Another successful Remote docking project completed at Asry in Bahrain, on the MT Jag Padma, a 15 yr old 50,000 DWT Oil Tanker – making this our fourth project this quarter.
ARK Marine Consultancy continues to support our clients with their docking requirements, remotely, efficiently, cost effectively and on time with our onsite experienced Project Management teams located globally.
Jag Lalit (26th August 2020)
Successful completion of a remote repair project involving steel repairs and hose crane Modification on a Suezmax tanker the Jag Lalit at Asry, Bahrain.
The proactive partnership and coordination between the onboard and shore technical Management teams, shipyard and our Project Manager on site allowed us to overcome all hurdles like the COVID 19 pandemic and the 45deg desert heat to allow timely completion of the project
Jag Leena (24th August 2020)
Turn Key Docking Project Management services rendered by ARK Marine on the MT Jag Leena a Suezmax tanker at Zhoushan, China.
The scope included including her second special survey, Ballast water management system and Exhaust Gas Scrubber retrofit Installation and renewal of 2 20 MT Hose cranes. Our onsite team managed the project in time at costs and to the satisfaction of our customer.
Thermographic Analysis (3rd April 2020)
Heat emission by mechanical and electrical machinery is undesirable but inevitable in most situations.
Why not use this heat signature to map the health of equipment on board vessels? Minimise heat losses, enhance savings and improve sustainable reliability.
Featuring the third star in our Condition Based Monitoring portfolio: Thermal Analysis. Thermography relies on the heat signatures emitted by all electrical and mechanical equipment during operations. It is an extremely versatile non contact tool which can be applied to live equipment on board a ship. Effective use of this technique to create thermal maps allows our engineers to pinpoint areas of concern and make specific recommendations to the crew to prevent failure of an item.
